With two great locations in Chicago and Rockford, students and learners of all ages can engage with interactive exhibits to learn how energy interacts with your daily life and how to contribute to a clean energy future.

- The lessons, discussions, and activities throughout this experience support a STEM-based curriculum by emphasizing key concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
- The Smart Energy Hubs at the ComEd Chicago and Rockford Training Centers each have a dedicated room with 6 interactive stations. Due to fire codes and building security requirements, the experience is recommended for a single group of 5-32 students at any given time with a recommendation of 1 chaperone per every 8 students to ensure both safety and equal student participation opportunities.
- Multiple groups/classes are not allowed on-site at the same time with the exception of exchanging students on/off buses
- There are NO facilities for groups/classes to eat lunches on site
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact FieldTripFactory.Org at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival – please do not attempt to contact the facility directly
- Scout Groups: Receive a patch for each scout participating in this event – please ask your Field Trip Leader

For the group if children that I had in attendance, a more hands on approach would have been better to convey the content. Hands on would have been able to explain the electricity and how its conducted, also more demonstrations.

The only thing that I think could be worked on, is one making sure all parts work correctly (electric car plug in). It would be nice to see trainings through the window especially for younger students.

Ms. Marion was wonderful with the management of the students’ behavior. We loved the content of the presentation as well! Very cool and hands on!
