Despite a little confusion about getting connected to career contacts, everyone was super helpful to make the field trip go smoothly! One of the instructors even ended up being available to talk to the students – I think this definitely made the trip worthwhile for this particular group. For their age group (16-24) the activities that really resonated were the generating your own energy bikes/cranks and the energy at home quiz. The intro presentation was a little basic/review of things they had learned. If there are more requests for groups like this I would definitely recommend somehow incorporating a bigger career piece if possible, but understand restrictions/availability of having those professionals available.
